Meet Russell Grimes

Accomplished

Originally from Enid, Oklahoma, Russell Grimes attended Midwest Christian College where he graduated with a bachelor of arts degree. He continued on to Central State University, where he earned a masters degree in education. In 1980, Russell took the leap into construction founding Grimes Development and has remained at the top of Collin County’s commercial development sector for 30 years.

Experienced

Russell loves to help his clients fulfill a need. By taking raw, untouched land and turning it into something beautiful, he makes his clients building owners, and helps them grow both their businesses and their wealth. His experience and commitment to honesty, integrity, and clarity have given Russell an outstanding reputation in the industry. He always delivers on time, and even more importantly, on budget. His staying power through three economic downtowns is a testament to the strength and faculty of Grimes Development; though he’s never gotten a trophy for it (he’s got a sense of humor, too!).

Professional

Russell maintains professional memberships in the Associated General Contractors of America, TEXO Dallas, and the Texas Association of Builders and Contractors. He is also a member of the McKinney, Melissa, Anna, and Prosper Chambers of Commerce, is an advisory member of McKinney Economic Development Corporation, and a major contributor to Court Appointed Special Advocates of Collin County.

Happily married to wife Cynda for 35 years, Russell has two great kids, Ashleigh and Jared. In his time off, he enjoys traveling, golfing, hiking, fishing, and other outdoor sports.
